12 famous persons join in WVFT’s “pass on THE HOPE”
to help needy children



WVFT organises “pass on THE HOPE” to deliver hope to needy children in Thailand through WVFT’s Child Sponsorship Project. It is our honour that our 12 sponsors from different fields of work have agreed to become  “Ambassador of Hope” of WVFT’s Child Sponsorship Project.

“pass on THE HOPE”
is where people from different backgrounds who are WVFT’s sponsors gather to share their experiences in sponsoring a needy child and invite 2 closed friends to sponsor a child. Those 2 friends will invite their friends to become the next “Ambassador of Hope” to help recruit more sponsors.

All of the 12 famous people in “pass on THE HOPE” are a sponsor in WVFT’s Child Sponsorship Project. They can share their experiences in sponsoring a needy child and invite 2 closed friends to sponsor a child. Those 2 friends will invite their friends to become the next “Ambassador of Hope” to help recruit more sponsors.

WVFT has already created 24 “Symbol of Hope” and handed them to our 12 sponsors on 20 November 2008 at “pass on THE HOPE” press conference at Siam Paragon. Each sponsor received 2 “Symbol of Hope”. The “Symbol of Hope” will be passed to the next person after the next person when he or she agrees to join the project.

During next year’s Famine on 16-17 October 2008, WVFT will show a montage video, a visual record of the passing of the “Symbol of Hope”.

“pass on THE HOPE” began in 20 November 2008 and will end on 30 September 2009.

What is Child Sponsorship Project?

Child Sponsorship Project is a programme that provides an opportunity for everyone to pass on the love and care to needy children, families and communities to achieve transformational development and well-being.

With your donation of only 15 baht a day or 450 baht a month, a child will receive education, health care, food and clean drinking water.  Families and communities will also receive occupational training to ensure self-sufficiency and sustainability.
